The HA AVFS is a scale out SAN single file system. It comes delivered on a dual computer system as dual AVFS Head. AVFS is for projects in M & E and HPC where a limited number of servers and or workstations need data sharing with the highest throughput and lowest latency physically possible today. For the following reasons: 1. AVFS is an in house development with this kind of projects in mind; 2. AVFS can be combined with virtually any type or form of storage, also storage arrays who are not identical including legacy ones. 3.
