The HA A/V FS is a scale out SAN single file system.
It comes delivered on a dual computer system as dual A/V FS Head. The Audio/Video FileSystem is for projects in M & E and HPC where a limited number of servers and or workstations need data sharing with the highest throughput and lowest latency physically possible today.
For the following reasons:
1. A/V FS is an in house development with this kind of projects in mind;
2. A/V FS can be combined with virtually any type or form of storage, also storage arrays who are not identical including legacy ones.
3. A/V FS is uncomplicated and straightforward to deploy also in a highly secure environment.
